ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) — Just like studying, producing and arithmetic, Rapides Academy for Advanced Academics’ sixth graders are studying how helpful sustainable gardening is with the help of the Fantastic Food Venture.

The Excellent Foods Venture is a application of the Foodstuff Bank of Central Louisiana that distributes foods grown in its demonstration backyard garden to clients and teaches community users how to mature their possess foodstuff. The method also partners with educational facilities to develop their have gardens and instruct students about gardening, foods preparing and health.
